Professional & Educational Background:

I graduated from Belmont High School in May of 2016 as the Salutatorian, the secretary of our Student Government, and as a member of The National Honor Society. I am currently a student at Ohio University who started out as a Biological Sciences major but switched to Child & Family Studies. I have been attending this school since August of 2016. My choice of majors are related to my desire to make people feel better in any aspect of their life.

Personal Life:

I live in Athens, Ohio for school but I am originally from Dayton, Ohio. I have a huge family and I am the youngest of 8 siblings as well as the youngest Great Aunt I know. I mainly got interested in human health care, rather than veterinarian medicine, when my father passed away when I was 11 years old. He had been in and out of hospitals my entire life due to multiple health complications. I like people but I love animals so much and have grown up with too many to count. I have a soft spot for cats and I hope to adopt 1-2 soon. I like to think I am a funny person but I may have more sarcastic humor than comedic humor. I am usually known in my friend group as the “mom friend” that plans and organizes everything.

Hobbies:

I have been a member of a student organization on campus called Bobcats For Children & Families since 2017. We have had fundraisers and donation events for families in need whether it be food, clothes, or toys. I enjoy playing Badminton and Tennis from time to time even though I am not that great. I like to volunteer at pet shelters so I can be around animals since I no longer have any at the moment. I’m not personally a “gamer” but I love to play Sims (1-4) and watch people play the games I don’t have access to, as well as watch Hulu, Youtube, & Netflix because who needs cable these days right? I prefer mystery, horror, and comedy out of all the movie/TV genres and I’ll listen to anything but country when it comes to music.
